I meet the recommended system requirements for the game, here are my specs:

AMD Ryzen 3600 3.6 GHz
AMD Radeon RX 590 8 GB
16 GB RAM DDR4

...but the game doesn't run that smooth with what I'm guess is mid-50s on lowest settings 1080p.

Maybe I forgot to disable a certain demanding setting?

i put everything on medium and im getting 20fps.

and weird motion blur when characters move.

turned off film grain and motion blur and resolution scalling.

I'm still patching because it stalled on me earlier and I cancelled and restarted it, but I'll try to remember to post if I have any issues.

Something is wrong, I'm getting 40-50 on high-medium on a a laptop with 1660ti-mq and a i7-9750h capped at 3600mhz

Having the same problem with my GTX970. Playing on the lowest possible settings and still getting 20-30FPS. Even created a thread about it here too, since the CDPR forums are down. My next option will probably be redownloading the entire game.

All high - ultra and smooth running...

I run on 1440pwith Ryzen 3900x 12 core CPU, 32 GB and GTX 1080, samsung nvme 970 pro and on G-Sync monitor.
Performance is very bad...

I use medium settings overall but i got 36-45 fps

The game feels rlly laggy too..

Ultra/High stuck at 25fps, doesn't matter what i do, whether i play on 3440x1440 or 1920x1080 (switch to lowest settings etc...) still stuck at 25fps,

Something is not right.

I'm waiting for the download to finish and giving moral support to my 4790K as I type this:

I'm also giving my degenerate 2070 a good stern talking to:

"You better run this game, and run it well, *********!!!"

1060 6gb, i7 6700 and 16GB

On custom high I get 27-34fps
On medium I get 33-45
On Low I get 47-80....but as a street kid, certain parts look like I'm playing a PS2/3 game on low.

I ended up turning off the RTX even though I have a 2080, and a beefy computer. Medium or High Ray Tracing just didn't fly. The Ultra settings without Ray Tracing are running silky smooth, but I've been monitoring my system performance. The game's only averaging 13-16% usage of my video card, which is low, I've run things that went well over 50% usage. What's weird is the heat. Those 50% usage games (usually heavily modded) diidn't heat up the graphics card, but the graphics card temp approaches 60c on my card. Not really sure why, continues even if I turn everything to the absolute lowest, and it's not like the system doesn't have a mass of cooling options so I'm kind of boggled.

Given I ran through a few other games to see if my card just borked suddenly, and didn't get the same results, I'm especially boggled.

Just restarted the game to make sure the lowest settings took properly, the game is sending my card to 70c at the main menu despite a low card usage rate. Weird.

Tested and issue is with drivers/game not my hardware.

So i am getting 19 fps almost all the time. Including menu. then during ride of the car it went up to 55 and 60 for a second only to drop back to the 19 fps.

used gog and steam fps to get figures.

According to MSI Afterburner GPU usage was low all the time except few spikes. Attached.

I think those spikes are the times when it went to high 50s

changing quality of the game does not impact fps. what driver are you running?

I noticed low GPU utilization on my 1080 as well. Weird.

On medium wit res scaling on and min res set to 75 percent (so 1080p) I'm averaging 40-50 FPS or so. Seems to drop hard when I turn (need to try turning off Montion blur). I know I wouldn't be able to max it out, but I did expect better than this. The low GPU usage even while getting ~45-50 FPS worries me. That def shouldn't be happening. Hopefully, it's a perf bug that gets patched.

And im not having the slightest issue.

are all your drivers updated ?
are your Windows updated ?
are your fans clean from dust (cpu and gpu) ?
