Since Castles II started selling again, all the abandonware sites removed it from their archives, redirecting towards GOG, which is good; however, you can only buy the CD version of Castles II, not the floppy one, which, as is widely known, has much more plot events in it. Thus I beg GOG to add the original Castles II as well, either as a bonus or in some other form.

I concur. I like the CD version just fine, but I played the floppy version when I was young and would love to see some of the content from it again.
And Northern Campaign to C1. Make it a big "Ultimate Edition" package for $10 or whatever you gotta do...
Well, Gobliiins received a floppy rather quickly, and Castles never did.
Go figure :).

That's because not enough people said anything about it. I put in product support cases for these types of things, but I'm just one person.

naturally they need permission from the publisher as well.

Somehow I doubt Interplay would strongly oppose the idea if approached :).

That's true, but they won't go after it if enough people don't "whine."

They just added the original version of the first Broken Sword game as a bonus, so adding the floppy version of Castles II and the Northern Campaign for Castles as bonus material may yet happen.

bumpedibump...since im also interested in the floppy version :)
Totally +1 for the floppy version. That would be fantastic. Add "The Northern Campaign" and you've got the complete set, GOG!
Well, for anyone who is still interested in seeing the floppy version of "Castles II" added to GOG.com, I've created a "Requested Games" page for you all to vote on:

Click here to vote for GOG.com to add the original floppy version of "Castles II"

Likewise, most of you very likely want to see GOG.com complete their package of "Castles" by adding the "Northern Campaign" expansion, and there's a page for you to vote on that, too:

Click here to vote for GOG.com to add "The Northern Campaign"

Thank you all so much for voting! Let's get GOG.com to complete their "Castles" package!
Thanks for placing those two on the wishlist, Eli! Original Castles just doesn't feel complete without the expansion. And I would love to play the Castles 2 floppy version. I only ever had the CD-Rom copy, which is identical to the Gog version, I believe, except for the picture of the king that comes up during the plots. The one in the Gog version nearly scared me out of my seat the first time I saw him! But anyways, the floppy version seemed to have some different, smaller film clips, and lots more plots, so I'd love to have it to shake up the gameplay a little bit.

Actually, Keremix added the request page for "The Northern Campaign", I'm just promoting it - though I certainly would have added the request if I'd got there first!

Thanks for voting!
here is a giveaway to draw more attention!
