groze: Updates and such tend to come a bit late to GOG, because developers and distributors usually focus on Steam and their own distributing platforms, first, which, if you think about it, makes sense, from an economical and business perspective. Not that I'm happy about it, but we have to deal with it for the time being, and just hope that GOG will get bigger so it will stop being the secondary priority.
For us, true believers in the DRM-free future of digital media, it's not that big of a deal. I'd rather wait three weeks and get something on GOG than jumping on Steam or whatever just to get it first.
Sounds like the Steam process is automated, where as the GOG.com process is manual.
Annoying having to wait. If you want this service to become even more popular, then it needs to not be held back.
I am a true believer btw...... just want it updated so I can start playing it the way nature intended!
