The Good:
Graphics (except that it doesn't want to go up to 1920x1200 for me)
Character models are decent looking.
The various moves in this game are useful.
T&A, and upskirts for those who like beautiful women.
The voices are interesting, not always synced, but likable.
The very bad:
Camera Control. whether mouse or gamepad, the camera will get you killed or tempt you to kill it yourself. it will zoom around at inopportune moments and refuse to move when you desperately need it too.
The controls.combined with the camera, the character has the agility of a monkey combined with the accuracy of a blind drunkard. Be prepared for extra work needed to convince the character that THIS ledge needs jumping not that one.
All of those bad things listed above pale greatly to this next one.
The grappling hook. Good idea? yes? good idea beaten into unplayable submission? most assuredly.
Yes hook shotting people and throwing them can be fun, but aiming them is another matter. The game has many arena hook throwing contest scenarios. All of which story wise look incredibly stupid. O i get to throw people into a fireplace which magically makes it explode, and thats the only way to proceed through level? or i have to land 4 people within 2 minutes onto speakers to lower a blood wall while fighting multiple enemies. well that makes sense. all that wouldn't be so annoying if the controls for throwing people weren't screwed.
overuse of the gymnastics element. Similar to the more modern tomb raiders, almost everything seems to be designed as a gymnastic course. while fun at first it becomes incredibly silly later. I can't always climb some boxes, but i can swing on poles. should you miss a jump do to a camera whip-pang, then go through the entire thing again. luckily i guess the entire ordeal just requires aiming her in the right direction and jumping.
To those who bought and enjoyed this game, goody, glad for you.
To me this game is akin to digi porn w/o a remote. Sure to attract attention but the controls are all but lost. Plus the plot is there, just not very interesting.
