thme: What class are you playing? I have rolled a Ranger/ Cleric multiclass with idea of taking him through BG2. Just started though. The game has such depth, it's amazing.

advancedhero: I am playing as a Ranger. I just thought it would be a fun class. Although when rolling him I messed up his stats because that was when I was still learning the rules, so now I look at his stats and just facepalm. Oh well, he made it to the final chapter okay.
You're playing the way you wanted to play and that is all that matters. There is so much information about how to build characters, but it seems the games are fairly forgiving. Are you on to BG2 next?

You bet. I have only played 30-ish minutes, and I can't believe how much prettier Baldur's Gate got in 2 years! I has so many appealing little changes to the game.
