ErwinEE: Does anyone know where i can get older patches? I am currently on hotfix 2.1, but the oldest installer I can see, starts with hotfix 3.0. So I would need 2.1 -> 3.0 patch.
No guarantee but you could try contacting support and ask if they could provide you with any of the patches that have been removed from the library in meantime.

Because I had applied hotfix 4 loca, I ended up having to uninstall and completely start over. After installing everything else and getting up to hotfix 4 launcher, I got it all updated. However, after that, it complained about data mismatch. I went in and deleted the hotfix files from the data folder, but that didn't fix it. I am redownloading it now.

Not a HUGE deal, but just letting others here know that if they don't feel like jumping through all these hoops (especially the person/people who said they couldn't find all the patches they need), you may end up needing to completely re-download the game anyway, so it might just be worth starting with that rather than making the effort to get old patches or what have you.

I wish I had known this BEFORE jumping through all the hoops I have.

Yigdboz: Not sure what the issue is?

There was the slight mishap that they initially skipped an iteration but this was fixed shortly after.

Since then the patch offline installers have been rolling out in relatively timely manner, and there have been zero problems with applying them either, if you pay attention. In fact I continue to be surprised by how quick everything gets updated, especially when compared to patching something similarly complex and ridiculously large as Cyberpunk 2077, which consistently takes ages to update via the patch offline installers.
From my perspective, the issue is that they broke the upgrade path by releasing a dead end patch. If I can't trust the offline installers and patchers to work, then why am I buying from GOG instead of any other storefront?

I applied the broken patch path (only one available at the time) before the second path was available, so it's not a matter of paying attention.
