I hope I haven't to point out to GOG how ridiculous this is! (I'm doing it nevertheless, just in case!)

ryanrodio: Not for me. Uninstall, restart, reinstall, still not the full version. Also not seeing the deluxe content in my library. This is fun.
My steps:

1) Deinstallation of GOG Galaxy (using Windows 10 "Apps & Features")
-> Yes, this step deletes all your settings and current meta information about which games you have installed, so your game library will be empty once you re-install gog

2) Goto https://www.gog.com/en/game/baldurs_gate_iii, login to GOG
3) "Go to my library" button appears (should appear ...)
4) Select "Download and install now" (big blue button ...)
5) GOG Galaxy gets installed with a hint that BG 3 is getting installed afterwards
6) BG 3 installation (the real one, 108.40 GB version) starts
7) Use the hours of downloads to restore your settings as everything is gone

made it to 90gb downloaded then it cooked itself. Thought maybe I'd just downloaded to early so restarted now I can't get past 147mbs no matter how many times i reinstall or restart gog

I can see the full version in the offline installer list!

Thanks for being so fast to compile and upload all this GOG!


Also for those curious, I pre-ordered and the deluxe upgrade just came through also, i can see the additional downloads just to the right. (See screenshots)

Only thing i could get to work, was uninstalling GOG galaxy, and installing it on another HD.
Reinstalling in program files, the default install location, did not work.

How can you confirm you have the full version installed? I haven't seen it says Early Access anywhere, but in game there is a "v4.1.1.3622274" showing on the interface.

Thats the same version that's showing up for offline-install too. And there it'c called "Release - v4.1.1.3622274". So you should be good. I think

Argh, this is irritating.. it just won't let me select the release version and thus it only downloads the early access version. Currently downloading backup installer version which is supposed be 105 gigs but only shows 68 gig during download. I'm confused and angry

I've already restarted GOG Galaxy multiple times to no avail

EDIT:
Okay, read a bit further in this thread, tried calming down and reinstalled GOG Galaxy.. which worked. Fucking finally it downloads the proper version

If you can choose the origin in the char creation u are good to go.
