I'm trying to use a 360 controller as a joystick. The controller itself works and I'm able to play with it, however changing the control scheme is giving me trouble.
I want to set up the controller so that it is the same as the Microsoft Flight Simulator defaults: the z-axis (triggers) control the rudder and Y and B control the throttle. Unfortunately I can't remove the z-axis from the throttle binding, which means every time I use the rudder it also changes the throttle. This makes taxiing impossible, among other things.
Is there a way to remove the z-axis from the throttle settings? I can't assign it to another axis as the others are either being used or not recognised.
