Armored Core 3Armored Core 3 once again puts you in the shoes of a Raven mercenary, with the task of piloting your own battle machine to use in a range of tasks (from destroying other mechs to seek and destroy missions).
After each missions, you are payed in full. The money raised can then go on towards the purchase of items for your mech. Weapon upgrades, better shields, even the opportunity to purchase what's called an Exceed Orbit, smaller robot gun emplacements that hover around your mech, giving you an added boost of fire power in the crunch.
4 player deathmatch modes are also included, where you each pit your supped-up mechs against each other to see who is the last robot standing.Action
Armored Core 2: Another AgeThis stand-alone expansion to Armored Core 2 includes 100 new missions based five years after the events in AC2. Once again your task is to complete a range of tasks (from destroying enemy mechs to seeking out bases and carriers), and each mission comes with a reward. The money raised goes to upgrading your mech for the bigger battles down the line.

Armored Core: Nine BreakerArmored Core: Nine Breaker brings back the super strong "Nine Ball" mech who appeared in the original PlayStation Armored Core. Those who can defeat "Nine Ball" (which likely means you if you see the end credits of Nine Breaker) are labeled as the true most powerful mech around, the "Nine Breaker." In Armored Core: Nine Breaker, players play through two main modes of play: training mode and arena mode. Training mode features 150 programs that test players' skills. Players can try out programs that focus on attack, defense, movement, "technic," "special" and "overall." Each of these areas are further divided, with attack comprised of multiple tests in accuracy, power, judgment, "hit - single" and "hit - melee." Arena mode is a battle mode in which players take on other mechs in battle. The player has no direct control of the mech in the action but can customize the mech as always, implementing additionally an AI that will fight on its own.
