There's nothing misleading about stating you won't be able to by a product because you don't live in America. There's nothing misleading about stating you'll be charged far more for a product just because of your geographical region and because you want to purchase from Impulse.
Tell me, if Impulse supposedly have 10% market share with D2D and GamersGate having significantly less, how come both D2D and GamersGate can sell Tropico 3 for $39.99 or less when Impulse apparently can only sell it for $60?
Are you really going to try and claim the publisher is forcing only ONE DD service to over charge non-US customers? Don't be so naive.

bansama: No, they're gouging the market because they think they can con us into paying more. Doesn't work when they readily send out their emails which give away the US prices (that they try so hard to conceal from non-US customers).

Delixe: From my own experience Stardock only care about the US and the UK. It's fair enough you have to walk before you can run. I am a huge Capcom fanboy and when Street Fighter IV came up for pre-order I chose Impulse over Steam. Both were selling at the same price but I prefer Impulse because of the download speeds. Release day came and I didn't have Street Fighter IV. Why? Stardock do this bizarre thing where they charge your card for the full amount and then take out the payment. As far as my card company were concerned they were charging me twice. I had to wait 3 days for a reply from Stardock customer services while US users on the Stardock forums were all sorted out in a few hours. Eventually I got a reply which was "So do you want the game? I can finish the payment now". That there is extremely bad customer service, not even a sorry. I could have bought the game on Steam and be playing it but no I decided to support Stardock and they repayed me by treating me like shit.
Stardock are a great company to use IF you live in the US. If not go to Gamersgate.

melchiz: In fact, I recommend the above approach for any problems one might experience with retail. Most companies will have at least some dissatisfied customers, but I evaluate a company based on its response to problems and complaints.

Delixe: Street Fighter IV was Stardock's first AAA title available for pre-order and they sorted their customers out in order of region first which is shameful. In fact I firmly believe that if I wasn't making a complete fool of them on Twitter it would have taken longer than 3 days.
