Random_Coffee: How are the Tomb Raider-games? I've played the two most recent ones, and one from 2006 (Legend?). I thought they were pretty good. Also, can I use a controller in the older TR-games?
They are quite different from those you've played, they (well, the ones before Angel of Darkness, that is) have clunky tank controls and AFAIK they don't come with native controller support. There might be ways to set up the use of a controller via DOSBox, but it would require some research and work on your part. The older games are usually played entirely with keybooard and without mouse, for movement you don't use WASD but arrow keys. Some parts of Legend might feel a little similar to these old games, but there is much less handholding in them, the levels aren't as linear, more about exploration than story (the games do have story and some scripted events, but much less so than the more recent ones), and there are no quick-time-events. Not sure how to explain it, did you check a gameplay video on YouTube? (This one for example has gameplay footage of all games.)
