Bookwyrm627: I'll have you know I STILL haven't killed anyone!
I was actually hoping for the night to come, because if it did we still would have a chance to at least tie it.

By the way, HijacK. There is no rotation. Last 3 kills were indeed done by bler's team. I personally shot Krypsyn dead while he was getting back from jailing whomever :)
Let's talk rules:

Every team had
one sub-capo (useless Godfather + useful forger) who could make someone they hammered appear as vanilla townie.
one silent killer (useless Ninja + useful Janitor)
one standard Jailer
and one goon.

The win condition for each team was the same: "You win, when your faction outnumbers all other remaining participants, because then you can push your desired law through." and the desired law was also the unmentionable Option 4 for everyone, only with different beneficiaries who get the control of the market.

********************************************************

Now, how were the Night-kills decided and what's the deal with the prodding?

Night-actions were first resolved in order of type: jailings resolve first, killings later. Conflicting night-actions of the same type were resolved in the order of their submission. (Time stamp on quicktopic)
And since the killings were noisy, I reasoned that only the first kill would work, because everyone would be warned after that.
With the exception of lurkers. They are so absent that they didn't hear the shooting and can always be killed. I.e. each lurker could have been a second night-kill. Only no one ever even tried to kill a prodded lurker! Apparently my anti-lurking-rule backfired and protected the lurkers in effect since no one dared to target them.

By the way, some congratulations:

Bookwyrm was the first to guess the '4 scum teams' setup.

And bler was the first to guess that speed was the deciding factor in the night-kills (as early as Night 2).

Any more questions?
Speed, as in, which team submitted their kill first in real-time? I swear, no one wants to listen to the noob, but, GDIT. *sigh*

Yes. First come, first served and the time stamp of the bolded, final decision post on quicktopic provided a nice reference point. That's why I kept bugging you to bold your final decision - and why all the failed nightkills got a description of hearing the shots of another nightkill and having to flee back, before they could do their deed. I.e. hearing that someone else was faster.

Well, yeah. It was the most obvious one. Bler had another good guess (I was actually prepared to cover all possibilities if the night came tonight - insta NK on cristi to even the chances) - room proximity as in who is near whom in the signup list. I actually thought that was the rule since we based all our successful NKs on that (that's why all were done by different people).

I suggested it to my team and they dismissed it. Not sure when. We didn't even attempt a NK on N1, because...I don't know why...

Kind of sucks because of being in different time zones with players, plus I had some hectic times for the first few Days and couldn't participate as much in scum-chat so we couldn't decide as quickly as other teams probably at least 2 nights if not 3 because of those 2 factors. It was fun, but very frustrating too feeling ineffective.

It became super-frustrating rather fast because on N1 I wanted to protect JMich quite hard but we didn't and then he was killed.

And th en I became pretty disheartened when 2nd scum-buddy died on N2. Then when yogs died I was like "well it's just time to go crazy-fun and see if I can win still but not sweat it too hard."

I look forward to the next one, if I can play. Partner might forbid the next one.

A disappointing outcome seeing as my decision on whether to play this game came down to "Extra chance of death if lurking? Let's just ask to be the N0 kill and get this over with." :P

ugh, that is really disappointing, I would have loved to have you in the game!

Ahhh well, next time!

Damn. Ix was right. Gotta give credit where credit is due then.

Bookwyrm627: Hijack, what is your win condition and your flavor for being here?
By the way, Wyrm, fuck that. And I don't say it because it was a problem for me in particular. I was happy we managed to get a game done without resorting to such low tactics as open PM questioning.

In other words, son, I am disapoint.

Yes, I was quite surprised too. I expected some WIFOM (he's going to be protected ... too obvious), but three proddees with three teams each for whom they presented an easy target and none of these nine opportunities was used - that is strange!

The first night this was the case. After that, there were higher priority targets than the lurkers. If it had been clearer that lurkers were guaranteed kills, there would have been more dead lurkers. ;)

That actually was going to serve several purposes, based on this particular game. I knew (on several levels) he was bullshitting with the Tracker claim, and I was hoping to pen him in there (I was also genuinely curious what he might come up with).

And on a second level, that was my opening into forcing everyone to admit that there was no town. Either people can open up and we can go to Tactical Warfare At Night or we can go to "If I can't win, no one else can either!" as everyone votes for something that will make everyone lose. Sadly, Bler was one up on me in thinking there was a 4 man scum team; I thought we were at 3v3v1v1 Today, so I had at least one more Night to work with.
oh, bookwyrm, I wasn't back-pedaling at all, I actually did think that godfathers could be neutral in some setups (can't they?) I certainly didn't think we had a neutral GF in this game though!

Lifthrasil: <snip>
Hey Lift, can we get a Night Action list? That should be interesting to see. I know our team just couldn't get a kill through the entire game.

Jailed, Jailed, Someone beat us to it, and then Flub wasn't home.

I thought we had a 4 man team alive and likely that Ix was on it, I should have gone for him instead of mussing with bler.
