Time for me to get a new mouse. Mine is acting weird because it double clicks or doesn't click at all.
Speaking of buying, Welp, of course 1 & 2 is a no brainer purchase. But I ain't so sure about Tactics.

Is it really worth it?

Like Jagged Alliance? It's pretty much it but in the Fallout setting and with several minor and major continuity hiccups.

Would say so. First played that one years ago.

Damn it, now I want to reinstall Tactics, despite having something like 60 games already loaded up.

I sure hope so! After wanting this one badly enough that I almost bought the physical "Trilogy" set on Amazon I actually managed to convince myself I wasn't going to buy it today... for about an hour or two. Then I realized "What the heck is wrong with me" and "When are they going to be this cheap again" along with "Screw it, I really just want them" I pulled the trigger. ;) In hindsight, it was a pretty easy choice LOL.

See if you can get a fingernail (if you have them) or a nail file under the depressed button and gently "pop" it up - sometimes they can get "locked" pressed down a bit too far and just need to be jarred loose.

Just be ready. One-hit kills exist, and your party will resemble pulverized roadkill at some points if you're not careful.
I'm off for the day.

And remember, watch out for any suspicious communist activities. Like sharing.

No worries there, I'm not sharing my backlog with anyone. =)

Have a good night, sleep well.
tell me, would you like some macaroni and cheese (!!!) gog.com free for all thread?

you don't have to answer that.

Just as long as they explode into a pile of gibs and / or radioactive goo! And I don't have to do it more than like five times, tops ;)

I HOPE when I fire it up it's more fun than frustrating. I have good feelings (as Fallout 2 started out VERY tough and I had a grin the whole way through) but if not... let's hope I know when to quit before any hardware / desktop junk meets an untimely demise! ;)

Oh, they certainly do that. No bloodless deaths, if anyone gets annihilated you'll know it.

It's got a gradual difficulty curve. No smashing your head against the wall right off the bat. Also, as you progress you gain access to more skilled characters to increase your chance of survival.
Wouldn't recommend ironman mode, though. The levels tend to be large, so the inability to save could be a sanity breaker if you get killed repeatedly and have to restart levels from the beginning.
Good Morning Everyone!!

Was just thinking of this newer Doom... Can't remember what it's called... Remember seeing it some years ago... That was some scary game... Hope it makes it here :)

If anyone needs cheering up, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5VRo5MBUXY - that's a pretty nice tune :)

CarrionCrow: I hope there's a big sale coming.
I know I'm anxious for a big sale that includes Elder Scrolls games. Of course that likely won't happen for a while yet......

Holiday Sale perhaps? Or Insomnia?

I bless the rains down in Africa

(we've gotten a fair share of rain here as of late :P)

Maybe at the holiday sale. That's 4 months away, might be a long enough time. Can't really bank on Insomnia since there's never any idea when it's happening until it's about 10 minutes away from starting. If they only do that once a year we won't see that kind of promo for quite a while.
