LaPtiteBete: So... everybody is wrong, heh ? ;-p hehe
Hey, no... The Oubliette is only a dark, cold, humid and full of spiders stony hole where you throw disobedient people. My high tech lab is clean, bright, quite cosy... and on top of our villains Tower...
Ho... you go at the Children's Hospice again :) ... you do a great job here... tough, but great...
Yep, everyone is wrong, and I am not too modest. :-)
Me and my partner will be doing some scenes form Shakespeare's Henry V, with me doing the part of King Henry V, and my partner doing some of the other characters. We are going to see if the kids want to do some of the dialogues, which they seemed keen to do. The only scene I want to do with just me and my partner is the Act 4, Scene 3, where the King is addressing Montjoy, the French herald. Mainly as this scene is supposed to be done with some anger and raised voices, and I would not like to do that with one of the kids. We will only do a little bit of it, if they like it we will try to pick a different act or scene from his plays each time, but it depends on how the kids enjoy it. I am sure they will like Act 4, as it has some really nice speeches in it, like the band of brothers speech. I got the idea from Fearful's mention of Shakespeare, and the kids seemed to like the idea.
LaPtiteBete: I don't think anyone should "compare" this kind of things... who lived the worst things... who deserve the most sympathy... nope !! we all deserve care and sympathy, and you deserve them too, no matter what you think n__o ... but it's totally understandable that you don't want to bring this back here, though. Anyway...
**Enormous friendly hug** !!
But surly it is for each individual person to decide their worth when it comes to things like sympathy? I have worked at an abuse clinic (sexual and physical) for a while, and some of the things I saw were just terrible, and to me, they deserve more sympathy than I ever will. Luckily I was only doing the job for a short time to help a friend out, I do not think I could have worked there full time, especially after seeing a few of the women and even some of the children try, and sadly, occasionally succeed in committing suicide. Not a very nice thing to see at all, especially walking in on the children afterward. Sorry, that was probably a little too morbid. I will shut up about that stuff now.
*big return hug*
LaPtiteBete: Lol !! What is the story with these mankinis... you force everyone who is not kind enough with you to wear one ?...
To be honest I have no idea, I can't remember how it all started, I think it was something to do with Endre. Would you prefer they wear something else as punishment? :-)
Soccorro: I'm good, and you?
Glad to hear it. I am good as well, thank you. Just doing some tax returns and other boring government documents.
moonshineshadow: While Agent might make a cool boss, I fear that he would change the food requirements here to everyone eating peanut butter and that would be quite bad ;-)
Endre would probably make a nice boss, but I am sure he already is pretty busy with all the nurses, cheerleaders etc he is keeping in his basement :D
And you are right, owl needs time for her world ruling, star collection plan :P
So... who else...
Crow made this thread, but maybe as boss would force us all to play horrible games?
Ah yes, what about you? :P
What about me? I am not boss material. If I was, I would make you the boss and then resign. :-)
