Hi, Although im and older gamer I played almost all SIerra Games, SCUMM games and such never played any Zork and Im interested. I dont think I want to play the old text based ones but the "newer" ones. Are they like a trilogy or something Nemesis and Grand Inquisitor seem great, Return to Zork less so but still seems interesting, so what would you reccomend? are they independent from each othre if so what to play first?

They're in the same universe but they're completely independent of each other and all three separate stories so you can play them in any order you like. In terms of difficulty I think Grand Inquisitor is the easiest, followed by Return to Zork, with Nemesis being the most difficult of the three. It also has a darker tone than the other ones. But other people's opinions might be different.

The older text games are worth a play. There are a bunch of inside jokes in the later games that you won't get without playing them. I would at least read up on the series.
