Having some trouble here. Once I'm actually in the game, I can't figure out how to call up the menu to save/restore/exit game. I've tried the obvious usual suspects, the esc, the spacebar, and hit just about every key on the keyboard, but nothing calls up any menu.

It's in the manual if you've downloaded it. Ctrl-S for save, Ctrl-R to restore a game, Ctrl-Q quits and Ctrl-P gives you some adjustable settings (not a lot).

As I recall, if you move the mouse to the top of the screen a bar slides down giving you access to save, restore and game settings.

That was only in the windows 95 version. The dos version only had the keyboard shortcuts.
