Could play these before those text adventures but should I in the story point of view?

EDIT2: Read some reviews and came to a conclusion that Zork: Nemesis is at least a standalone game not tied to Zork story.

I'd say don't worry about it. The Zork games have never really tied together to form a grand story, so the worst that could happen is you might not understand a few in-jokes or references to past games. Except for starting in the middle of a trilogy, there's really no wrong place to start.

I seem to remember the text and the graphical games being very different...I believe they *could* stand alone, but I wouldn't do it that way if you ever plan on playing all of them. Maybe I've got more OCD tendencies than I think, but I would do the text games first, see the way the games changed and evolved...but that could just be me :)
