For those who have played through the game, I got this off Zombie Shooter's 2 summary here on GOG. Does it mean that for each character that you pick (Male/Female), there is a partner that you eventually have to save?

Or do you have some sort developing relationship with an NPC of choice?

I haven't played the GOG version yet, but as I recall the version I played years ago had you saving your girlfriend with a lot of text implying that the character you were playing was male, regardless of your character's gender.

Thank you, SCPM! I was kind of curious about it, and just have to know.
That's alright! I hope that they've fixed the dialogue by now, but I'm not confident that they did.
