I really enjoy the fast forward button; help to lower the tedium of retries...BUT REALLY...so many levels have been lost because of one, teeny, tiny, mistake that wrecks an entire run of a level like not getting an overlord in the right position at an important moment and everybody goes off the side of a building.
The levels being what I like to call "segmented" i.e. solve one problem; move on to the next; solve all problems to complete the level. I think a rewind or post-your-own-checkpoint system would have really benefited the experience. The way it is now leads to a lot of tedious repeats of already solved sections and not enough learning what to do on the segment that is giving the player problems, making a lot of gameplay boring and frustrating and I don't think that's what the devs had in mind when they made this game.
Maybe if there's a sequel...
