Just purchased today, the minute I launch an area it tells me the area has been won through a military win, what's going on?

This has just been fixed by the developer on Steam:

Maybe GoG hasn't patched it yet?
Alternatively you can purchase the Orc Schism DLC, apparently it doesn't have this problem.

Yeah, that should be fixed in version 1.024 which will hopefully get posted soon.

This is still an issue. I should not have to buy a DLC to not have this issue. :( I've written support about it, to see if anything can be done.
