I assume I'm missing something because the game is extremely dark and I literally can't see anything except for the highlights. I'm on Linux Mint 17 with an AMD card and it's not playable at the moment because I can't see anything.

I've already installed SDL2, so this shouldn't be related to that.

Hello, we had an user that experienced this issue some time ago. AFAIK it's fixed by having updated drivers.

I was afraid of that. The open drivers are probably the problem. But, the official drivers tend to make my desktop lock up when the display goes to sleep.

I was kind of hoping there'd be a different solution as I don't like preventing my monitor from going to sleep.
