I got all the way to the final boss (the executioner) in my third run, beat him, but nothing is happening. Pause doesn't work anymore and there is no portal in the room. Can I fix this, or do I have to play the whole damn game again?

Typo, i meant the examiner.

I had the same issue twice,it's really annoying. I have encounter it only on easy mode but then again I only got to the final boss once on normal mode and never on hard mode.
