The game was release over there a few days ago and is is still not yet entirely clear if this release has done something about the most prominent left problem (Gods Animations). While I personally heavily doubt that a simple release on Steam is likely to cause someone to fix such a bug, of course it cannot be ruled out complety, too.

So far, only 1 review complains about the problem being there, while several users on the Steam Forums claim that with 60% game speed the steam version makes no animation troubles at all.

So my question here - anyone able to shed light in this? Or to put it differently...has someone already tried the hard way by making a Steam purchase...?

Never mind, word on Steam is that the version over there is the GOG + unneeded DRM, but with no fix.
