the animation is either missing or frozen so it looks like the building is shutdown/missing employees. normally when something goes belly up in the game i delete all the files i can find and reinstall it. sadly this didnt work this time. is there another way to try and fix this issue?

im having the same problem on pharaoh and emperor.

Not much that has worked but you are in the early stages of the God animation bug. It gets worse from there! I had the same thing and one day it just went away, no idea what I did to make it do so. You can check the threads here under god animations or screen res fixes, many good things to try. First thing would the wide screen res patch. Presumably has worked for many people just getting that installed and running.

tried it, didnt work. i got it from moddb if it matters.

have had the god bug before and doing nothing is how it was fixed last time. but that took several months before it fixed itself.

everything is working perfectly now. i did nothing, literally nothing. just waited

possible fixes: doing nothing, windows update, the above solution took some time to kick in, combination of the others.

Restart your computer. All Impressions citybuilding games have this clock-related bug where animations stop working after you leave your computer on (or sleeping) for about 24 days. Restarting your computer resets it. Or wait 24 more days until the animations return automatically...
