I'm running Windows 7 and this game doesn't even start. Do not buy.
Can someone from GOG answer? This game doesn't even start. I double click the shortcut and it crashes.
I'm posting here because I do not trust support, they could not even get BLOOD running smoothly.
For every 5 hours that I go unanswered I will make a new thread, like I said I do not trust support.

Also I will be asking for a refund if GOG can't help, it must be illegal to sell software like this that can't even start.
Oy. Multiple things:
1. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit and the game runs like a charm. Doesn't even mess with my screen resolution.
2. Shockingly, posting every 5 hours with the same shout won't get you help. It will get you banned and make everyone hate you. Don't do it.
3. You don't trust support? That... makes no sense. They are there for support. That is their thing. That is their entire purpose.

They couldn't get Blood running smoothly on any machine I tried, I tried on a laptop and a high end machine, didn't work. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit, it crashes when I click the shortcut, I tried compatibility already.

I'm not the only one, Blood runs like a stuttering mess and this game doesn't start.

Not trying to stir the pot really, but Zeus launches and runs for me just fine in Win 7 x64. Yelling "DO NOT BUY" seems like a silly knee jerk reaction. There must be some other issue preventing it being run.
Well I just purchased it, installed it onto Windows 7 & I never had to do anything, it is running perfectly.
Just tried it, runs without a problem. It just messed around with some windows i had opened, but that could be because I have two monitors.
I have 2 monitors too and even that is no problem at all. All the other windows flicker a bit when I start the game but when I'm ingame, its all fine.

Running on Windows 7 64 btw.

EDIT
But, and that is my personal opinion, crying like a little girl in the forums, screaming at people to not buy this and THEN saying that you do not trust the support and therefore will not contact them is beyond childish behavior... :D

Game worked out of the box for me, and when I got high resolution patch...it still worked. Windows 7 64bit here, only one monitor.

And support to GOG is great from my one (and only) experience with them. They took a lot of time to try and figure out what was wrong with Fallout 2 for me.
It works just fine, Windows 7 32bit here on my laptop, bought the game a few days ago and I'm lovin it :)
Thanks for the warning, but it works for me. "DO NOT BUY" is a bit exaggerated :-)

IF they can't help. Well, let them help you. I cannot say that they are perfect, but for every problem I had, I found a solution at least in the forums. I still wonder why they do not add more help and compatibility advice in the game package or at the game main page. But they do a lot to make the games run on most computers. They cannot try out every combination of hard+software beforehand, so I don't expect every game to work on every computer without some help.
