I remember the very same problem linger in the old CD version of the game: in the Athens campaign, caravans from several cities (vassals or allies) stop from visiting my city (and they are officially trading, there's no declared interruption of trade) and I get cut from fleece and olive oil... Does anybody else encoutered the same problem? Any solutions? Thnx!

Angry Gods?

Where did you build your dock(s)? (What side of the water? Maybe a ferry problem?

I can't remember but did City Gates stop traffic in Zeus?

Some possibilities.

Do you know the name of the specific scenario? There are several were this type of thing happens. You mention Fleece and Oil specifically, these are often used to limit your housing growth in a scenario where it would be to easy to complete if you had immediate access to a large population. My guess is this is scripted behavior and it simply wants to keep you at lower housing levels.

As an example, in the first one "Unlikely Beginnings" you wont get fleece until Thermopylai becomes a vassal and offers it in tribute.

Yes, walls do all kinds of funky things. If it is a layout issue and not scripted, make sure to check your roads coming in and out of your map. Building or bulldozing these will cause traffic to stop. Also on the Attens map its possible to strangle off growth if you dont have bridges yet. Difficult and unusual but possible.

It's not the docks, but in the regular land trading posts, I've got no walls or other obstacles which would not let the caravan to pass. And there were no gods attacks so far...

It's in the "Revolt in Ionia". I mention these ressources because these ones I need, however it applies to every ressource from Corinth and Olympia (both vassals with "loyal" appreciation). In fact, I've got trading posts from different cities, but I don't get any caravans from these ones only, even if they should be trading.

I know Oil is extremely limited in this scenario, Olympia is the only one to sell it correct? Perhaps you bought them out early for the year? Corinth will go Rival at some point due to the oil shortage as well. Perhaps since they are already vassals that made something screwy?

Well, I've got nothing in that case. I have played this one a number of times without issue so I can confirm they do try and limit resources on it but no clue why they would have stopped entirely if they are not rivals and you have not purchased the full allotment for the year.
Did you find the solution? If not, can you take a picture of the map when you started to have trouble? The Athens and Sparta maps are the two best in the series, and a game destroying glitch should be cured.
