nuekboyt: I cannot start the game in Linux Mint. My main monitor (two monitor system) goes into "unsupported resolution" mode. Is there a way to change the default resolution of the game?
Hi,
Try the resolution stuff in the ScummVM config file - after some bit of trying I managed to switch it to desktop resolution size - before that it was nailed shut at 640x480 (that might be your problem, i.e. this resolution not defined in your screen config stuff)
The config file that comes with the GOG version is called ZAK.INI and mine so far contains the following:
[scummvm]
last_fullscreen_mode_height=1080
mute=false
speech_volume=192
native_mt32=false
midi_gain=100
enable_gs=false
last_fullscreen_mode_width=1920

opl_driver=auto

sfx_volume=192

music_volume=192
platform=fmtowns
speech_mute=true

[zak-fdd]

gameid=zak

I hope this helps - just try adding your respective resolution info for your monitor instead
Cheers
