Started the game, got to main menu, went to options, clicked fullscreen and....game is now utterly unplayable, windowed mode does not work at all, it did end up windowed but nothing was on screen, so I exit, come back...and the game now starts in this tiny un-expandable window, can't see anything, cant play the game, cant change options or anything.....INSTA-UNINSTALL

I have never seen such a messy launch from GOG, guess the community was right, but even if this was the original game it would have issues

Delete display in the installation folder; this resets the display settings.

The problem is that the game doesn't work properly in windowed mode if the desktop resolution is lower than expected. I posted about this on the Steam forum and the developers said they would look into it, so hopefully a future patch will correct this. For now the windowed mode is unusable on such resolutions.
