Guys, that's not cool:

I already did some levels, I just relaunched the game and was asked for continuing. I clicked No and went back to the list of levels.

Just to see that everything was gone! Only maps 1 & 2 left, everything else grayed out. Just one old savegame on the end of map 2 that immediately crashes! Newer savegames: gone! :(

Aside from mediocre things concerning the port that are already being discussed, this is an absolute No-Go!

Please fix this! Or give us the DOS-Box version. Since I do not own the original discs anymore, I once was happy to see Z on gog.com, but I just started to hate this version.

Thank you.

Ok, things are broken as ever in v1.1, but I just did some quick reverse engineering to claim back my lost progress. Well, a bit at least.

Hack: take "autoinfo" in your Z directory and do a Hex-edit: Look for offsets 0x92 and 0x9E which contain the number of the level as byte, change them accordingly to where you want to go.

Restart the game and click "No" when asked for continuing. Now, we can go back to the list and finally choose to restart the map that we just enabled.

The savegame-system is still broken fundamentally: I noticed something disappeared into slot 5. But when I reloaded the newly launched map by blicking on slot 2, I sometimes get back to what I was once missing (being slot 5 now)! Not sure yet how to mess up the state while being able to reproduce it.

Do backups of your savegames!
