I'm here to report that this port is unfortunately terrible. Before even playing the game you're greeted with a menu that has severe sound issues. The sound skips and stops and jumps weirdly. It's not just the main menu though as the gameplay audio seems to be affected as well

Anyone has a fix for these?

My fix was changing the audio device. TV with hdmi audio: jitter. Soundcard: fine.

Yeah, crappy port, people on the Steam forum have been reporting all kinds of bugs and issues, mostly sound-related ones and controllers that are not recognized and don't work with the game; framerate also seems to be a problem, with some users experiencing a frames-per-second ratio of 10-20.

What a mess...

Anyway, thanks for the recommended fix, Erim_Keene, if I come across the same problem, at least I have a suggestion of what to do to address it.

I have no sound at all. Switching or disabling sound output devices doesn't help.

Strangely but it repaired itself on next day. Maybe windows updated, but i finished the game just fine. Only issue was hangings in cutscenes.

I hadn't played in quite a while, but when I opened the game today I noticed that the audio seems to be working fine again. I'm also not sure if it was an Windows update or if it was the 8th patch they released for the game but either way I'm happy!
