Hey, I've been playing this game without issue for several hours total. Now suddenly neither the cursor nor dialog options are appearing.

Since my current save state is at the start of a cutscene followed by a dialog with Victoria Baxter, I can't access any settings. I also can't complete the dialog so I can't progress.

Can someone help me?

My game got into the same state. :-(

(Likely at the same place. This was towards the end of chapter 5 after I exited a cellar. The cut scene starts with a mention of the gardener.)

I played with a controller at first. I changed to using a mouse and randomly clicked around. With this I was able to progress the dialogue. The dialogue contains flashback scenes during which I could see the dialogue options. I could not see dialogue options in the initial screen.

Thanks to moving the mouse cursor around "randomly" (I moved it mainly down) and clicking, I got the game to progress and I'm now in chapter 6.

This really sucks, because you can't even load an old save game when stuck in a dialogue.

Hopefully this helps anyone else who hits the problem. I already had a few dialogue problems earlier which I could work around by restarting the game and reloading the last autosave.

That's incredible... screen opening code and UI arrangement is clearly broken for this game when starting from Windows desktop resolutions higher than 1920x1080. Indeed, if you change Windows resolution to 1920x1080 BEFORE you launch the game, the UI, cursor etc. will re-appear in game.
Unplayable on bigger screens.

EDIT:
Workaround, with no need to change Windows desktop resolution before you launch the game:
1- change Windows desktop res to 1920x1080 and launch the game the first time
2- when in-game you'll see menu, cursors etc. working... Now enter Settings (gear icon) and choose screen res 1920x1080 for this game, then the Back icon in the upper left.
On next launches, even from 2560x1600 16:10 Windows desktop resolution, now the game will correctly run in 1920x1080 with visible cursor/UI etc.

EDIT2:
Ok, also 2560x1440 (16:9) fits for the game. It seems only the non-16:9 resolutions are the issue. And the game on startup seems to set video res == desktop res (hence in my case was 2560x1600 = missing cursor/UI).
