When I start the game, the first splash screen pops up and I hear a brief second of sound, then everything freezes up and won't respond. Anybody know how to solve this?

Switching Compatability mode to Windows 7 on the .exe fixed it. No idea why a game released in March 2020 needs Windows 7... but there you have it.
