Here's an odd problem I keep having with Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Somehow startup.exe file just keeps getting deleted from my computer seemingly at random. I click on the shortcut to start the game, and it tells me that file is missing. Galaxy shows the game is not installed, even though all the other files are there. When I do tell Galaxy to install the game, it finds all game files on the computer, and just has to download 40 megabytes.

I am not sure what else I can tell that might be useful. I am running on Windows 11. There are no notifications that my antivirus deemed startup.exe a security threat or anything like that. I do have Galaxy executables on my antivirus exceptions list.
I noticed some time ago i have exactly same problem occurring with this game: exe file keeps getting deleted randomly after play session through GOG Galaxy.
I am also running WIndows 11 and no antivirus related problems or anything like that.

I have now copied the exe file elsewhere so when it gets deleted again i will just paste it back to the installation folders to start playing instead of verifying and reinstalling missing files, but that cannot be the solution.
Seems weird. Usually when the .exe is missing the antivirus deletes it but you say it doesn't. Maybe it is best to report this to GOG support so they can have a look.
