Seeing the gameplay of this immediately made me think of the series of games from the 90s called the Strike series. Most of my experience with them was one called Desert Strike. In the game you had to fly around a desert that gave the impression you were in the Gulf War or a similar fight. There would be the need to be saving hostages, picking up supplies and refueling, etc. Around the map you would kill soldiers and military vehicles till you had finished with every objective that map had given. Well this sort of made me wonder if this could be described like it's a modern version or spiritual successor of a game like that. Is it?
