I love the original, but hated the remake. Wondering if it is time to retry it again?

Nothing has really changed with the latest update. The game is much less buggy, but its gameplay remains the same, with brain-dead AI and uninteresting combat. To me, the game is even worse now, because the bugs at least made it fun in a "so bad it's good" kind of way, but now it's just empty and boring.

The game runs MUCH BETTER now, even on older PCs.

I started playing through the remake yesterday... and I have two feelings - in some moments I liked the dynamics... on the other hand, the stealth sections are completely broken, so this is not a spy action game like before, but just an action game.
