I realize that this may be a lot to ask, but I'd greatly appreciate if somebody could keep this XIII remake installed and check in every once in awhile, to keep us hopeful souls informed on whether the game is worth purchasing, or how far off it still may be from becoming a solid, relatively bug-free experience :3 Yes there are patch notes to read, but I've got no idea if the bugs mentioned in those are well and truly squashed, or how the game as a whole might be.
Of course I was rather shocked when I saw the game's condition upon its launch, though I'm certainly optimistic for the future if "The teams are working relentlessly to provide you with regular patches to improved playing experience" (taken from the 'changelog' post in the GOG forums) is trustworthy, and still yet holds true.
It's totally fine if nobody is willing to participate, I just know that there are a good few potential buyers waiting on this sort of information. I, personally, love all of the remakes, remasters, and ports we're seeing today--so a game with as much charm behind its legacy, such as XIII, deserves a quality "definitive edition," lol.
To Microids, PlayMagic, or whoever is taking an active part in the fixing of this game (no matter how significant you feel your role may be; many of the "smaller" people can make biiiig differences): I know people were harsh back when this remake was launched, and I do hope you could see why. Regardless, I really appreciate anything you've already done or will do to fix it up. Seriously, developing games can be hard work, but I personally have a heck of a lot of respect for the folks behind the games I enjoy (as well as the games I don't). Please do well on this one--I know you've got real potential, and I really can't wait to see what projects come from you folks in the future :3
