Hey there XIII folks!

If you are not satisfied with the base game as it is and want to bring the game to a fresh 2019th state, apply this all-purpose patch with features such as:

HD support
Input patch (better base sensitivity settings and properly behaving menu cursor)
Multiplayer support (several 24/7 servers for instant play or create your own listen/dedicated server)
Multiplayer skins
Multiplayer mods and console commands
Multiplayer bots (in listen servers)

If your resolution isn't available, for simplicity I recommend to check at https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/XIII on how to adjust it manually.

Active multiplayer servers (and community Discord) can be checked on this page:

well.. thanks again for the advise !
I never knew there was such big fan community for XIII !
:-)
this thread needs to be stickied
Thank you very much for this!!!

I would have never expected this game to be patched by fans.

Time to play this game another couple of times!
Thanks! Graphics are superb -fo this- i owned the original on CD and quite cool red box with window. Doesn't work anymore but the patches and edited .ini have brought this back into the modern era ;)
I patched it and mouse issues in menu and game are unchanged :(
Hey there,

sounds like the patch hasn't been installed correctly for some reason. If you use the Galaxy client, have you deactivated GOG's auto update for XIII?

You can always fix the sensitivity for the in-game part with the sensitivity slider in the options manually. (see attached image)
When changed, press ENTER to confirm. (not right click or anything else or it won't be saved)

Thanks for this, works great.

Is it possible to create an own server to play with your friends?
I can do this and the server is visible, but my friends can't connect.
Can you tell me how to fix this?

Thanks!

Hey there,

for multiplayer, XIII expects the ports 7099 and 7777 (both UDP) to be opened. (-> port forwarding in router)

Port 7099 will make the ping lamp work in the server browser (usually showing green when low latency) and port 7777 allows the server to be reachable from the internet.

If the connection shouldn't be still possible, ensure the application is not being blocked by the firewall.
