Hello.

So, I went to play this again (am at the submarine part, where it is docked already, and I need to go across the moving cargo carrier thing, by pulling the lever on the top floor), and my set cfg no longer works.
Use doesnt use (cant use the lever, or pick things up).
Reload now is secondary fire.
And, every time I try to re-bind something, it goes back to what it is is 'supposed to be' (what I set it up as), and wont save.

Anyone know where the bindings cfg file is?
I looked in XIII.ini, but that didnt seem to have them.
And, I cant find any other ini that it seems to be in either.
I cant find anything XIII in users or public (win7 64).

Thanks.

Well, got it working by doing Reset, and then changing bindings again 3x.
But, I seem to have lost the ability to bind End and Numpad 0 (all delete/end/page/etc and numpads) seperately.

But, after killing the chopper, now I cant select any weapons.
:(

Buggy game since the submarine.
Hmmmm.
Well, re-did the exe in xp mode AGAIN, and now the intro music and nvidia music work again, and no problems again so far.

Looks like somehow (even though it was still checked), the XP mode got dis-associated somehow.
Weird.
I don't know about XP Mode, but at Windows Vista/7 with UAC you could accidentally have wrong/old config files in use, if you edit those, which are already copied into AppData.

Typical case: You edit your System\XIII.ini, but while launching XIII, Windows passes an outdated XIII.ini from a hidden AppData folder to the game.
Solution: Edit the .ini from AppData or delete it (then it will be replaced with the newest version from original source), or simply launch XIII.exe as administrator to prevent using any AppData content.

And to round out about the bindings: The only external place for altering the key binding is the DefUser.ini. The bindings get together within the profile (which is located in the XIII\Save folder) you create at beginning - as well as saved games etc.

You would lose so your solo progress as a new profile has to be created everytime, but it's still neat for the multiplayer.

Kind Regards
