Anyone else running Xenonauts under Windows XP ?

My installer ain't running period..(Yes DEP exception added, Yes ADMIN, Yes drivers ok, etc..)

I click it, teh thread opens briefly and then disappears again..just like that, no half hour waiting helps,
(EVERY other large setup from gog takes like 5 secs to actually open..so I'm safe with 30 mins..went shopping FYI, not waiting..)

There are NO error message, no screenies I can show or add to this..
Just double clicking, running as ADMIN, whatever..nothing works....

Anyone else running Windows XP and Xenonauts ?

DO NOT COMMENT IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO ADD !!
(also, don't suggest me upgrading my OS..I'm keeping that stuff away until I can't run something I really want..)

maybe there's a way to manually unpack the game ?

when having trouble like mine..try opening MMC first..if it works it'll be the weirdest bug I ever met..

- and will yet postpone upgrading OS'es till at least the start of the next game that won't run under XP and yet needs to be played..

Btw..game works great, although I exchnaged the .lua's for the bigger font mod...

(Strinder's Large Font Mod)..cuz the regular font WAYY too small...)

You might consider adding that package to the download list..it works so far..
(and yes, if I'd see any bugs I think I can handle those..simple text script mod changeable with notepad..)
