Hello

I'm playing on veteran difficulty and studied everything in the research lab, but no MAG weapon research available.

Alien plasma tree finished. What did I miss? :(

Looks like you are missing the Alien battle rifle. As I recall, aliens do not start using it until fairly late in the game.
