hello everybody! due to lack of a graphics card i cant play xcom:enemy within, so i bought xenonauts. i run xubuntu 15.10 on a maschine with a i5 CPU with HD4600 graphics and 16GB ram and installed additional libs that are stated on the shopsite. when i click the starter NOTHING happens - no crashing,no display goes black bc of loading,no error message,no maschine sound (still have mechanical drives).

someone has a clue for me?

Try starting it from a terminal and see if there is any output.

terminal says "./Xenonauts.bin.x86: error while loading shared libraries: libSDL2-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

seems i dont have a libary :/ can i apt-get it?


found the solution in a witcher2 post: sudo apt-get install libc6:i386 libasound2:i386 libasound2-data:i386 libasound2-plugins:i386 libgtk2.0-0:i386 libsdl2-2.0-0:i386 libsdl2-image-2.0-0:i386 libfreetype6:i386 libcurl3:i386

this did the trick for me!
