Hey there guys, I just recently started a new playthrough of Xenonauts and I'm looking for some advice on how I should proceed. This is my 2nd playthrough; my first one ended in a disaster because i had no idea what I was doing compared to X-Com; so I wanted to see if there's stuff I could learn that is more applicable to Xenonauts than X-com since even though they're similar, they're different enough to warrant me to do some research

Have you read the quick start guide that comes with the game (under more > other on the GoG game page)? It gives you a solid starting strategy to keep funds coming in.

Shield troops are very useful for kicking down doors and taking a hit or two before your snipers can pick off the enemy.
