Hello!

My soldiers keep killing their teammates because they hallucinate.

First I don´t believe that this is a cool feature. quite the opposite, it kills the gaming experience because it´s totally random, and I have no chance of avoiding it.

Is there a chance to edit my soldiers morale to avoid this sh*tty feature?

Thank you!

I have noticed the AI tends to target the same soldier with mental effect if he stays in the same spot. If one starts to get hit by hallucinate / unnerved, next turn unequip his weapon and don't move him.

The way to minimise this is to choose soldiers with higher morale/bravery or whatever it's called. The higher their morale the less likely they are to be affected.

Naturally, if a soldier's morale drops during the mission (e.g. due to someone getting killed in front of them), they become more susceptible. Also weaker-morale soldiers will naturally hallucinate more often, so a soldier targeted once is likely to be re-targeted.

The only sure-fire way to stop this is to kill or disable the aliens that are causing the hallucinations.
