Hello,

I can't seem to be able to install the currently published version of the game via CrossOver for Mac - and I haven't seen this with any other game before, although I am using numerous GOG-purchased installers the same way. Installation commences, but crawls hellishly slowly and eventually ends up stalled halfway in the process, totally stuck. I gave it several hours to no avail. Did anyone else experience this or would someone have a helpful idea? Running Windows natively is not an option.

Thanks in advance!

T.

Perhaps try Wineskin? If my memory serves me it usually uses much a more recent Wine version than CrossOver ever does, maybe there was a fix out recently in Wine itself.

I posted a similar question under Linux wine, latest 1.7.45, and now I see that it must be the same issue. I waited almost 24 hours, and it was still ongoing, so I didn't bother continuing. The rate was about 500bytes/sec.

I'm still waiting for an answer myself.

Post: Well, Xenonauts for Linux has been released and it works perfectly, so no issue with setup on Linux.
