I've been playing this a lot, and I couldn't stop helping but notice now I was firing diagonally compared to horizontally and vertically. When I wanted to shoot west for example, I would end up pointing into a diagonal rather than just west. What I ended up doing was making my own control map on Steam and set the controller up to map keyboard keys to the controller rather than just using typical xinput, and with about 10-15 minutes of tuning, I started to notice that I'm aiming a lot better and my score was much higher than when I used the game's default controller set up.

So is the right stick's horizontal and vertical zones much smaller than the diagonals? Because it definitely feels like it.

Lemon,

This is why a write my post,
i am not please with the left stick 8 directions,
i aim better with the 4 butons A B X Y !!!

Is there a dev here ?
We need an option.
@Yozchura

I don't mind using Left stick for movement, and right stick for shooting. It's pretty much a Smash TV clone.

My issue is that I keeep on aimming diagonally a lot more than North, south, east and west. But when I use Steam's controller mapping software, I can make it work the the way it should.
