I had this game in the previous pc, with windows 10, and it worked perfectly. I recently changed pc, new with windows 11, but the game won't start. No error message, no conflict with antivirus, simply the loading wheel appears and then disappears soon after. I tried running it as administrator, with different compatibility settings but nothing. Direct Play is installed but it doesn't work either. I've also tried what is mentioned in a GOG help thread where they suggest to create a new environment Variable called "OPENSSL_ia32cap", but that doesn't work either. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is?

this is way, how it works for me on the WIN11:

1. download DDrawCompat v0.5.1.zip on GitHub

2. unzip into the X-COM Interceptor folder

3. i need to rename Interceptor.exe for example to Interceptorr.exe.

4. play and enjoy the game
