Okay it's been a while since I ran this game with mods. Played steam version and had to create an entirely separate directory with all files unpacked and turn off steam forced auto-mod deleter (also known as no way to turn off updates.) This was before all the changes with the workshop which allegedly let you run it however you wish. I tried steam workshop once in the early days and it bricked the game so had to do a full uninstall, re-install and re-unpack so never tried it again.

Which brings us to today. I just bought the gog version and I tried running a few mods with the GOG version.

To my dismay none of them work (most are looking for an older version).

Even Toolbox no longer works. I just wanted to tweak countries of origin, gender/speciality %'s and so forth.

Is there a one-stop shop tool that works with the GOG version?

Just running EU at present. Will try EW after a few playthroughs (I didn't like the EW changes.)
