Is there a manual or not... one is listed in the goodies... but it doesn't download... also how do you change terrain levels? I followed the in game instructions to climb up to the roof in the first tutorial scenario by holding down the mouse wheel and hitting the right button on the brown arrow but I just got beeped at again and again... then for no apparent reason the game suddenly let me move up and take a shot at an alien. Finally I got stuck in the barracks trying view/equip my troops back at the base ... i am probably missing something that a manual would point out.

I don't really think a manual is mandatory for this game, really. Anyways you can download the manual as it's included with the purchase, I did. The file is named "xcom_eu_manual.zip", and includes the manual in several languages. What's your problem??
