How can i use Multiplayer???

If i press the Multiplayerbutton at the Menu it dont make anything
Any idea?
Or is there anyone who tested this?

How did you install it? I'm asking because multiplayer is only available when you use the Galaxy software.

Wait, are you saying multiplayer does work if you install the Galaxy client? Can someone please confirm this for me? I don't have Galaxy installed because our internet connection is really lousy and not always on so I'm rarely ever online. I do have a LAN at home and would love to play XCOM multiplayer on it but I didn't think it worked in the GOG version (which really bummed me out when I bought it) . If someone can confirm it does work with the Galaxy client, I'll definitely install it.

I just saw on the Gog store page of the game the following: Notice: multiplayer is not supported. It's written in small letters under the system requirements. So that probably means that the Galaxy client won't enable multiplayer, so I was wrong in my previous message. I just assumed that multiplayer always works with the Galaxy client but I hadn't seen the notice. My mistake.

there should be a big warning that mp is disabled.

It is Steam's fault, though. They deliberately lock games into Steam Workshop. It's one of the reasons I'll never buy from them. I was about to support Paralives until I found out it would be locked into Steam Workshop and only available on Steam.
