Why on earth, are all the so-called "English" accents Irish? Did they have an Irish voice actor? If they did, she is rubbish. Why not just list American, French, German etc and "Irish"? the accent is not English at all and it is really annoying. After the money they must have invested in this project you would have thought they could have got some decent voice acting so that we English are actually represented by people who sound English.

I can tell you're just venting so feel free to ignore this, but:

I'd like to point out that other languages have the same thing - you just don't notice. You say "German" - is it German, Austrian or Swiss (they all sound different)? "Spanish" - from Madrid or Latin America (and which LatAm country exactly)?

Basically what you're dealing with is the difference between language selection and culture. Most people who aren't native English will not care that much if all the actors aren't actually English (and the language is called English), just like you probably don't care which type of Spanish or German is spoken.

A lot of foreigners (including many Americans) don't understand that English does not include Irish or Scottish. English is England, separate form Scotland or Ireland.

It's Britain that includes England, Ireland and Scotland.

What they should have done is labelled it BRITISH. Then it would've been accurate. We do get 2 English, One Irish and 1 Scottish which I like. If they were all English that would cut down on our BRITISH choice, don't you think?

p.s. Also get mods for more.
